The INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND DEVELOPMENT UNIT shall:

         - Implement policies, regulations and guidelines on instructional materials (IMs) development;

         - Submit reviewed IMs to the University Textbook and Publications Board for approval;

         - Screen and review reference materials required by the teachers particularly those that are to be purchased by the students such as manuals, textbooks, and recommend final adoption or rejection of such instructional materials; and

         - Establish linkage with the University Textbook and Publications Board and Printing Office and outside publishers and printers for possible publication of instructional materials.
